On the Fritz

Our internet connection, that is. It seems as soon as I decide to give this blog thing a go, my efforts are squashed by a blinking light... literally. After several failed attempts to repair the problem on my end, I finally gave in and called our internet service provider. After following his instructions (double click this, open that, check mark here, click OK) he got me back up and running. Now the fan is making loud noises and the computer itself has slowed to a crawl. Frustrating? Yes. Just be glad it's me writing the blog and not my hubs, otherwise there would be computer bits strewn all over the driveway just in time for garbage collection. "We need a new computer anyway" he would justify. "This one sucks"!
